Intro to Farragut Class of 2017
The evening of Wednesday, August 16, 2017, was well received by the participants of the Introduction to Farragut program. All members hope to walk away with more knowledge of how the Town works, what the future plans are, and how they can help be a part of that process. The Town appreciates these citizens who want to learn all they can about their local community.
|2016 Class Member||Why do you want to part of the 2016 Intro to Farragut Program?|
||"Knoxville is going to be my permanent home and would like to learn about the community and contribute to the community's continued growth."|
||"As a 30-year Farragut resident I am very proud of our schools, parks and community. But I want to learn more of our history and our plans for the future. Being knowledgeable, active, involved and a positive voice in the community is very important to me. I want to be part of our beautiful Town as we grow and plan for our future, developing ideas that will excite and meet the needs of all our residents to live, work, and play here."|
||"As a relatively new member of the Farragut community (2 years) and a new member of the Farragut Economic Development Advisory Committee, I am interested in learning more about all aspects of Farragut. I am particularly interested in how the town operates and is governed. I want to continue to become more involved in the community and feel the Introduction to Farragut program provides an ideal platform to inform where my talents can best be put to use."|
||"I am currently training as a volunteer docent at the Farragut Museum and feel that [the program] would assist in providing wonderful additional information about Farragut."|
